Berkeley County Historical Society (BCHS) operates under a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Support for BCHS is provided by membership dues, seminars, book sales, tours, & special events. Our mission is to collect & preserve history, educate the public & encourage historic preservation in Berkeley County, South Carolina.
Members also get early notice of talks, tours, and our annual book and calendar fundraiser.
